Naidu Deceiving People Of AP, Claims KTR:- KT Rama Rao, Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president, on Friday, warned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu for portraying TRS and its leadership as ‘villains’ in his attempt to deflect public attention from the failures of the TDP government.

Criticizing allegations leveled by Naidu that TRS was creating obstacles on the development path of AP, Rama Rao said Naidu was deceiving the people of his State by blaming TRS and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to cover up his failures and incompetence to develop Andhra Pradesh despite being in the NDA government at the Centre for four and half years.

“We were never an obstruction to the development of Andhra Pradesh. We focused on the development of Telangana State after its formation. Naidu is trying to blame Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chandrashekhar Rao for his failures and desperation to retain power in Andhra Pradesh,” he asserted.

Addressing a massive gathering of Congress activists led by Onteru Pratap Reddy who joined TRS at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said the people of Telangana voted TRS back to power because they believed in the welfare and development schemes introduced by the Chief Minister.

“At the peak of separate Statehood movement, we may have hurled a few abuses at the Andhra leaders, but we also received them in a double measure from the other side. But after the State bifurcation, we left everything behind and focused on the State’s development. People of Andhra origin residing in the State too voted for TRS because of this. However, Naidu continues to blame us for his failures and inability to develop Andhra Pradesh,” he explained.

Emphasizing the need for the collective effort of regional parties to fight against the injustice meted out by the Centre, Rama Rao said that neither BJP nor the Congress will get the magic number in the upcoming parliamentary elections to form the government.

“TRS will work with various non-Congress and non-BJP parties like Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Biju Janata Dal that have made their stands clear not to support either BJP or Congress. All the regional parties will play a decisive role in national politics to ensure justice for their respective States. YSR Congress Party too agreed with our proposal for a federal platform in New Delhi,” he said.
