Telangana To Get Five New Medical Colleges:- Telangana is said to get a huge boost in the coming days. Telangana Health Authorities kept proposals of new medical colleges in the state and there are some good news happening around. Five new medical colleges will be established with each attached to a nearby State-run health institution costing Rs 500 crores.

The Health authorities in the coming days will explore and prepare the projects accordingly. Proposals are on for setting up medical colleges in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Ramagundam, Jangaon, Karimnagar and Khammam soon. Chief Minister KCR will review them at the earliest and the projects will be launched in different phases. These will add 500 MBBS seats in the next few years which will be a huge boost for medical education in Telangana. The state has 8 government medical colleges currently with 1250 seats. Telangana also has 19 private medical colleges with 1090 seats.
