India All Set To Send Humans Into Space For A Week

India All Set To Send Humans Into Space For A Week:- Gaganyaan named as the country's first manned space flight is said to take three persons into space for over a week and the space craft will be kept in a low earth orbit of 300-400 kms. Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space, Jitendra Singh revealed the news about Gaganyaan through a press conference. GSLV Mk III, the three-stage heavy lift launch vehicle will be used to launch Gaganyaan. He said that it has all the needed payload capability.

Before sending humans, two unmanned missions will be tested informed Jitendra Singh. The programme will be completed before 2022. Three member crew will be sent for over seven days and the project cost is expected to be Rs 10 billion. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Gaganyaan mission on the eve of Independence Day. ISRO is in plans to collabarate with space agencies to make Gaganyaan mission a grand success.
