Facebook Donates Rs 1.75 Cr For Kerala Floods:- With the whole country supporting Kerala which has been badly shattered with rains and floods, social networking giant facebook too stepped out and turned a lending hand. Facebook donated Rs 1.75 crores for the relief activities in the state. Facebook will donate the quoted amount through Community Resilience Fund for GOONJ - a Delhi-based non-profit organisation which has been taking care of the relief activities in the impacted places in Kerala.

Facebook on the other hand used the features like live, joining communities and creating pages to raise funds and connect people.
