162 Trees In Hyderabad Uprooted Due To Heavy Rains:- Strong winds and rains during this summer created havoc across the capital of Telangana, Hyderabad. These unexpected rains killed two and left city in standstill. Many regions in Hyderabad have been left without power for the complete day yesterday due to heavy winds and rains. A man from Azalgunj lost his life while the other has been washed away in drain in Kala Pathar located in old city. As per the reports from The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), as many as 162 trees have been uprooted in the city and water stagnation took place in 38 regions.

19 electric poles have been collapsed and two houses have been completely damaged. Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with the officials monitored the situation and relief activities have been initiated. Traffic came to a standstill after the roads have been flooded with water.  All officials have been put on alert with the sudden rains in the city. Nampally and Amberpet recorded the highest rainfall at 4 cm while other regions recorded 3 cm rainfall.
