200 Indian Railway Stations To Get Sanitary Napkin Dispensers:- With Women's Day heading near, Indian Railways is in plans to install sanitary napkin dispensers in across 200 major railway stations across the country. The Railway Ministry informed the news through a press release. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal during his recent visit to Railway Womens Welfare Central Organization (RWWCO) decided to take the step. The production unit has been making eco-friendly, affordable sanitary pads in Sarojani Nagar Railway Colony centre in New Delhi.

Piyush Goyal decided to take the step and implement them by Women's Day. New Delhi, Bhopal Railway Stations and Railway officers got sanitary napkin dispensers and now efforts are being made to expand them across 200 stations. Named Dastak, it is an initiative started by RWWCO to produce low cost sanitary napkins. The setup has been producing 400 napkins per day and the cost per six napkins has been costing Rs 22. The cost would come down as the production picks up informed a source.
