Telangana’s RTC Depot Manager Commits Suicide

Telangana’s RTC Depot Manager Commits Suicide:- The Depot Manager of Road Transport Corporation (RTC), at Narayankhed, in Sangareddy district, Mahender committed suicide by drinking pesticide.

The victim’s body was found dead on a main road. He was spotted wearing a track suit and a pesticide bottle was lying beside his body at Sevalal chowk in town. The police suspect that Mahender might have committed suicide, by consuming the pesticide after his morning walk.

It has been only a month since Mahender joined duty as a Deputy Manager from Karimnagar-2 depot. He hails from Karimnagar and was transferred to Narayankhed depot only in last May. The Narayankhed depot is well known as a punishment place for the staff as well as for managers.

He expressed his inability to continue at the depot with his colleagues some time back, says reports. Since Sunday, Mahender was on leave, and last night, he handed over his official SIM card to the Assistant Manager last night. His son’s phone number was also given to his driver, saying he might have to call him sometime.

The authorities have informed his family in Karimnagar about his death and the investigation is still going on.
