Senior IPS Officer Wife Commits Suicide In Hyderabad:- In a tragic incident, the wife of a senior IPS officer committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan in her house in Begumpet, Hyderabad.

The victim, Usharani (51) was living at Sai Sagar Heights apartments at Prakash Nagar in Begumpet with her husband and two children. According to the police, for the past 11 years, Usha Rani was suffering from lung cancer. And most of the time, she used to remain confined to her bedroom due to her illness, which ultimately led to depression.

Yesterday, after lunch, while everybody sat together, she went into her bedroom and locked the door. Everybody thought she might come out after sometime once she feels better. The family knocked the door, after she did not come out for a long time. However, there was no response from inside. Immediately, to break open the door, a carpenter was called. She was found hanging from a dupatta tied to the ceiling fan. Usharani was immediatley shifted to KIMS, where she was declared brought dead.

A case has been registered by the police and have sent the body for post-mortem.
