Banks Refuse To Give Loan For Amaravati ORR:- The loan for the proposed Outer Ring Road (ORR) around the Amaravati has been refused by the banks.
A proposal was sent to the Central Government by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Government, seeking permission for the construction of the 186-km ORR. The Centre has given its nod, but however, the banks are not willing to give money, as the project was a massive one.
In New Delhi, discussions on the ORR was held by the Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Venkaiah Naidu and they have further decided to consult Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for securing the loan from foreign countries with his Ministry’s permission.
