Traffic jams are very common in every city in India but it was a surprise to one of the rickshaw puller in Lucknow.

Paytm CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, was felicitated with Yash Bharti award on Thursday after which he was scheduled to meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster Akhilesh Yadav, at his official residence.

But as Mr. Sharma was traveling by his car, he got stuck in huge traffic jam in Lucknow. Due to which the later got down from his car and hired a rickshaw owned by Maniram.

All the security officials were asked by Mr. Akhilesh’s residence to allow the ‘guest’ arrive in his vehicle after which the rickshaw was allowed inside the CM’s residence.

The Chief Minister was surprised to see him come in a rickshaw. Then he welcomed the CEO. Mr. Akhilesh also spoke to Maniram, who belongs to Rae Bareli. He told the CM about his family, children and home.

After this, the CM handed him new e-rickshaw, Rs 6000 cash, Samajwadi pension for his wife and a Lohia house in Lucknow.

“This Diwali has changed my life for me and my family. All our blessings are for the Chief Minister and his family for helping me so much”, the rickshaw puller told security men posted outside Mr. Akhilesh’s residence.
