In a bizzare incident a video of a man throwing a dog from the terrace of a residential complex has gone viral in the Facebook. After watching this horrific video a city dweller lodged a complaint with the city police on Monday evening. A manhunt has been launched to trace the culprit.
The video is believed to have originated from the message sharing platform, whatsApp and was eventually uploaded in FB by animal activists. The video, which runs in slow motion, features a man holding a dog by its neck and back on the parapet wall of his terrace.
After smiling by looking at the camera, the man drops the dog down and the camera follows the dog, which falls down crying out in pain and the video ends with the dog lying still on the ground.
Sally Kannan, Outreach Consultant at Humane Society International, posted the video saying “offering a reward of 100,000 Rs to anyone who is willing to volunteer valid information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this evil.”
Antony Clement Rubin, who had shared this video, had lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime unit of the City Police.
