Finally, an answer was found for the Chiranjeevi's milestone film director. Many big names like Shankar, VV Vinayak were heard previously, but it is finally Puri that is been confirmed officially.

Ram Charan confirms this news officially through a social networking site. Once in the past, in the promotion programs of Puri's Bollywood flick 'Buddah hoga tera baap', on Puri's and Ram Gopal Varma's force Chiranjeevi was convinced to announce his 150th film and Puri as the director for it.

But later anyway, the idea was turned down by Chiranjeevi and was in a search of a fresh director. At a particular time, VV Vinayak was almost confirmed as the director, as mega family felt that Vinayak can hold a mass subject perfectly and previously he was the director who delivered a blockbuster to Chiranjeevi in the form of Tagore. But for many unknown reasons, Vinayak was kept on a side track.   

During this period, Puri who was deeply hurt for his rejection by Chiranjeevi, started concentrating on his career, delivered good hits in Bollywood and also gave comfortable hits in Tollywood. But recently, it was through Temper, Puri was managed to give a blockbuster to the industry after a long time.

The movie is well appreciated by the audience and by mega family too. That was actually the reason to think back of Puri again, and after few under cover discussions, Mega family convinced Puri to direct Chiru's 150th film. The script was already finalized and now its Puri's style of screenplay that is expected to turn as a heart to the script.
