Make In India, a hit in social media

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious project 'Make In India' [MII] is a huge hit in social media. The official Facebook page of 'Make In India' has now over three billion likes and according to the numbers, a new member is adding every three seconds in Facebook. In twitter, MII has 2.70 lakh followers while the promotional video in YouTube had witness over five lakh views on the opening day.  

'Make In India' is promoted by the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion initiative, as a strategy to attract more investors. Not just in digital platforms, 'Make In India' official website is getting overwhelming response than every other government departments like the Ministry of External Affairs, the Home Ministry or the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. So far over 5.5 million have accessed by over 1.7 million users across the world.  Around 25 sectors are being covered in Make In India campaign and we expect more traffic in digital platforms in coming days.

The whole idea of this campaign is to make India a global manufacturing hub and should compete with China which is currently in the first position. It was the thought of Narendra Modi that led to the foundation of Make In India.
