It is a common feature in the film industry full of superstitions to get elevated or pulled down for no credit or fault of a movie star. When a heroine is praised she will get praises from all corners and when the time comes for throwing stones again she gets from all sides.
It happened with Sonakshi Sinha too. Although a movie is a result of the team work under the leadership of the director of the film, a film’s starting date, release date or the female lead are attributed with the success or failure of it.
When Sonakshi’s first two films Dabang and Rowdy Rathod struk success at box office she was praised as a golden lady whose setting of foot gets success to the movie. Now when the movies she acted have failed to allure the audience though it is not due to her fault, she is now seen with a suspicious look that her luck might have worn out.
Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, Dobara, Bullet Raja, Lootera, R Rajkumar movies in which Sonakshi acted have fallen flat at box office. Even the movie Himmatwala’s failure in which Sonakshi appeared only in a special song is attributed to her presence in the movie!
How injustice!
But, she has to accept a negative point also when a plus point was accepted and remuneration is increased knowing well fully that it was not entirely her contribution that brought success to the movies she acted.
