Chandrababu Fast Can Be Stopped At Any Time

The health of fasting Chandrababu Naidu deteriorated and immediate ending of the deeksha is advised by doctors.

The hunger strike has already attracted the National attention.  Now the fasting at AP Bhavan for the justice to be done to the Telugu people by Chandra Babu has become a matter of concern to the Center but it is not showing it the way the agitation in Seemandhra is not openly taken as a big point to be taken into consideration in pushing through the process of formation of Telangana State.

Jantarmantar the first choice of Chandrababu’s to stage his hunger strike was not permitted by the police.  Then Chandrababu chose AP Bhavan as the venue for his fasting.  But AP Bhavan authorities are not happy with the way Chandrababu using the premises for his fasting with thousands of supporters visiting him.  The Resident Commissioner already issued an eviction notice to Chandrababu but he has been continuing brushing it off.

Now, the authorities have two reasons (options) to make Chandrababu end fast.

One is the deterioration of health of Chandrababu.  Government cannot simply allow anyone to die.  An indefinite hunger strike is considered as an attempt to commit suicide as the condition implies fasting until death or until the demand is fulfilled.  In that case, police can forcibly take him to hospital for medical treatment that includes oral intake also that amounts to ending of the fast.

Chandrababu announced yesterday that he will not end fasting until justice is done to the Telugu people no matter whatever happens to him whether it becomes a danger to his health or life.

Secondly, Chandrababu’s hunger strike is not officially permitted to carry out at AP Bhavan.  He can be evicted with the help of police by filing a civil case as suggested by Home Minister Shinde.

Either of the above can be used against Chandrababu Naidu to end his hunger strike before it becomes a severe problem to the Government from political point of view rather than law and order problem.
