Dil Raju's reel reasons for ignoring Yevadu

Producer Dil Raju has two apples in his hand. One is Ramayya Vasthavayya ready for release and the other is Yevadu not releasing. It is a tale of two brothers who are both important but where one gets more attention over the other. The release of Yevadu is not completely in the hands of Dil Raju, still he has some filmy reasons to pull the wool over fans eyes.

When Yevadu was first postponed, he gave the reason of political turmoil in Andhra Pradesh. Ok, it was absolutely justified. Then came Powertsar Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, vigorously breaking all Tollywood records from the very first day. Dil Raju said he did not want to release a movie of a hero from the same family to compete with AD.

This reason too, is understandable, as the response for AD is unparalleled. Moving on from these two genuine reasons, he is ready to release his films, now that politics and big releases trouble has passed. His preference towards a single postponed RV to a thrice postponed Yevadu came as a surprise to Charan fans. For this, Dil Raju's reason is a little confusing. He is using a mix of both the earlier reasons, knowing they sound lame.

While Yevadu is pushed for November or December, Ramayya Vasthavayya is running full steam ahead with interesting promotions and great talk. For now, the producer is heeding Jr NTR's words to not postpone the film. Call it discontent, but Dil Raju's inability to take 100% responsibility for Yevadu against a backdrop of persistent interference from the Mega dad is a thorn in his comfortable shoe.

Another real reason why he my have been pushing Yevadu into the unknown future is the response to Toofan. Even Charan expressed recently that he will never try to fill in big shoes again and stick to original stories. Toofan's impact was hard to digest. Hence, buzz around town suggests that Dil Raju is waiting for RV to completely wash away Toofan's bad aftertaste to come out with Yevadu.
