March of the millions, would we survive 7th September?

Two peace marches are being planned for the fateful 7th September. On one side, the AP NGOs are taking up a protest against bifurcation. On the other hand, OU JAC are planning a Million March II on the same day.

OU-JAC-March

This is clash that could literally bring millions on to the roads of Hyderabad. The police say it will not happen at any cost. But sentiments and ideals are bigger than rules. That's what the protestors are standing for, Telangana and United Andhra, and against, United Andhra and Telangana.

We don't want to know who will come out the winner in this clash of the millions, though planned as a peach march. Clashes like these do not help anyone, least of all security for the citizens. The last time a Million March happened, there was destruction to both property and hearts. Millions became emotional at the sight of broken statues that stood as a representation of all of Andhra Pradesh, which includes Telangana and Seemandhra.

How many more would be hurt this time? AP Non-Gazetted Officers’ Association plan to start their protest at LB Stadium. Osmania University's Students’ Joint Action Committee along with Telangana Joint Action Committee will begin their march from Nizam College, a stone's throw away from the stadium.

The marches are, unfortunately, planned around the time another big budget film is releasing. For the past few months, we have seen life being affected due to the political situation. Now also, people may be forced to stay at home, while Ram Charan's Toofan and Zanjeer may play to empty theaters.
