Frenchman hunting for butterflies in Pakistan

Interestingly, a Frenchman seems to be on a mission in the mountains of Pakistan. Armed accompanied by a net as well as a smelly cheese, Mr Jerome Pages braves the jeopardy of Taleban militants to chase the domination of one's thoughts, that's butterflies. Over two decades the 64-year-old has burnished the remote, uncorrupted landscapes of Pakistan's north, where the Himalayas meet the Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges.

Furthermore, he climbs quickly using hands and feet and across the cedar-garmented hillsides of Ayubia, 100km northwest of Islamabad, the magnificent peaks of Kashmir on the horizon, chasing a butterfly known in India yet not in Pakistan.
