Rabies Claimed another death of Girl in Vijayawada :
Hospital sources said D Santhi (12) was bitten by dog few weeks ago.
She was brought to government hospital in critical condition and died today.
This is the second rabies death in the city as earlier one Shiva Prasad (28) died of rabies yesterday.
CPI Leader D Shankar consoled the bereaved family and demanded Rs two lakh compensation to the family.
Meanwhile, the government hospital doctors said that most of the dog bite victims are approaching quacks instead of getting anti-rabies vaccine and coming to hospital in a critical condition.
Several rabies victims are in various hospitals in Kakinada, Rajhamundry, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam Khammam and Guntur.
