On Tuesday evening residents of Hyderabad and Secunderabad were in for some cheer with several areas witnessing surprise showers.

Moreover, some places were greeted with moderate rainfall while others witnessed just a sprinkle, but enough to force motorists and pedestrians to a short run for cover. While children ventured out to get drenched, those active on social media sites posted pictures of the rain.

To say more, while Shamshabad and its surroundings reported moderate rainfall, areas like Ameerpet, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Srinagar Colony, Yousufguda, Vanasthalipuram, Kacheguda, RTC crossroads, Himayathnagar, A.S. Rao Nagar, Padmaraonagar, Gachibowli, and many other localities witnessed drizzle.  

It was indeed a freezing drizzle evening for all!
