The state election authorities today issued notices to four ministers for reportedly violating the code of conduct of the election commission in Kadapa parliamentary constituency during their election campaign.

The ministers are Dr DL Ravindra Reddy who is also the congress candidate for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat by poll, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Ahmadulla and Manikya Vara Prasad. The authorities have issued notices to them after receiving complaints that the four ministers went into a Church in Kadapa on Good Friday to influence the voters in favour of the Congress candidate.

The ministers are camping in Kadapa and trying their best to ensure the defeat of the YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is pitted against Ravindra Reddy and TDP candidate Dr MV Mysoora Reddy.

The ministers have been asked to reply to the notices with in a week.
