Amit Shah targets ten Lok Sabha seats in Telangana:- Union Home Minister Amit Shah has set ambitious targets for the Telangana state unit of the BJP ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections. During a state-level meeting in Hyderabad, Shah called for securing 10 Lok Sabha seats and a 35% vote share. He cited the party's success in Gujarat, where they went from capturing nine percent of the vote share to winning two-thirds of the seats in subsequent elections, as evidence that the target is achievable.

Shah emphasized the need for party members to engage with the public and promote the BJP's achievements, such as the abolition of Article 370 and the introduction of new laws. He criticized the Congress party's corruption and labeled it a "sinking ship," while also attacking the TRS party's alleged corruption and family rule.

Furthermore, Shah highlighted the central government's contribution of Rs 9 lakh crore to Telangana's development. He also mentioned the party's commitment to the categorization of SCs and the provision of free ration to 80 crore Indians.

During internal discussions preceding his address, Shah reportedly urged party leaders to put aside their differences and work together for the party's success. He specifically addressed the strained relationship between Etala Rajendar and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, asking them to abandon personal interests and refrain from making allegations or leaking information to the media.

Speaking separately, Dr. K. Laxman highlighted the BJP's increased strength in the state, from one MLA to eight currently, and expressed confidence that the party's performance in the parliamentary polls would differ from the Assembly polls, where the Congress party benefited from hostility towards the TRS and KCR family. Etala Rajendar emphasized the BJP's growing support across various cultures in India and predicted an improved performance in the Lok Sabha polls, in which the party's vote share recently increased from 6.8% to 15%.
