Telangana ruling party BRS is way ahead and is busy promoting their development activities that took place in the state in the past two terms. During his recent election campaign, KTR said that Hyderabad underwent huge development and transformed as one of the finest cities of the country. He said that Hyderabad is compared to cities like New York but the opposition parties turned blind and are making false statements about the development in Telangana. He lauded the efforts of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

"There was a time when there was no proper power supply and water for Telangana. The drinking water was available for every 14 days in the city. Today, Hyderabad has every resource and it is transformed as one of the best cities of the world. After BRS took power, there are no curfew days. We are completely focused on the infrastructure and the city will be made better and better. Superstars like Rajinikanth and Sunny Deol compared Hyderabad to New York city which is the best in the world. The leaders of BJP and Congress are just blind" told KTR during his meeting at Telangana Bhavan with the leaders.
