Narendra Modi Thanks Joe Biden:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked US President Joe Biden for accepting the proposal to add Africa as a permanent member of the G20. Narendra Modi wrote the counterparts for the G20 members for making Africa a permanent member of the group in September. This is the biggest opportunity for the African continent, which has 55 countries in it to enhance its voice on the international stage.

Narendra Modi said, “I thank Joe Biden for granting the proposal to add Africa and give strength to ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’ and for giving the complete voice to the South Globally”. He said he firmly believes that India and USA being too strong democratic countries can fulfil the aspirations of the whole world. During the dinner, both Narendra Modi and Joe Biden hailed the new era in their relationships.

G20 was founded in 1999 after the Asian financial crisis. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UK, the US and the European Union are its grouping countries to date. Modi as a strong believer that G20 is the voice for international, proposed Africa to the grouping countries in September when the G20 was organized in Delhi.
