Telangana Rains: Bhadrachalam on High Alert:- The continuous rains in Telangana created a tensed situation across the state. The government is trying hard to prevent any human loss in the state and the officials, leaders are participating in the rescue operation. The Godavari river water level reached an alarming state and the new rains made the river cross the third warning level of 59.09 feet. There is a huge water logging in the Bhadrachalam region and 144 section has been imposed by the government of Telangana. The famous Anjaneya Swamy temple got submerged under water. More than 6000 people have been evacuated from the low-lying regions in the town. The road links from Bhadrachalam to other regions have been lost for the third time in a row.

43 relief camps have been arranged and more than 6700 people are moved to the camps. Transport minister Puvvada Ajay reviewed the situation in the region personally. He said that the inflows will reach the peak by this night. The administration is working hard to tackle the situation and the water level may reach to 72 feet. He urged the people not to step out from their homes. Bhadradri Kothagudem district Superintendent of Police G Vineeth announced 144 section of CrPC in Bhadrachalam and Burgampadu. The traffic on the Godavari bridge will be prohibited after 5 PM. People are not allowed to enter on to the bridge because of the fiercely flow of the river. Special helplines have been arranged and they can dial 100 or 08744-241950 and 08743-232444.
