Presidential Pick Droupadi Murmu Meets Modi:- BJP and its allies surprised everyone after picking up Droupadi Murmu as the Presidential candidate. There were a lot of speculations that the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu may be the new Presidential candidate for BJP. In a surprise, Droupadi Murmu's name was announced officially. NDA's Presidential Pick Droupadi Murmu met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi this afternoon after she reached the national capital. Modi heaped praises on Droupadi Murmu yesterday and he called that she would end up as the best President. He also said that the vision of Droupadi Murmu is just outstanding.

He also said that she is appreciated by all the sections of the country. Droupadi Murmu will file her nomination papers on Friday. All the senior BJP leaders along with Union Ministers and others will join the support. "Met Droupadi Murmu Ji. Her Presidential nomination has been appreciated across India by all sections of society. Her understanding of grassroots problems and vision for India's development is outstanding" posted Narendra Modi after he completed his meeting with Droupadi Murmu. She is in plans to meet several senior leaders in the national capital. 64-year-old Droupadi Murmu would be the first trial person to become the President of India if she wins.
