Narendra Modi to review the Covid-19 situation in states:- There is a sudden risse in the new cases of coronavirus in the country. New Delhi and Kerala witnessed a jump in the new cases. Several states announced that facemask should be compulsory for the people when they are in the public. The government of New Delhi is keen to impose new restrictions if the cases continue to rise. A total number of 2927 new cases of coronavirus are reported today in the country and 2252 people recovered in the last 24 hours as per the official information from the Union Health Ministry. The active caseload is increasing and it stands at 16,279. World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus urged all the countries to keep a track on the Covid-19 infections in their nations.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with all the Chief Ministers of the states through a video conference at 12 noon to review the situation of Covid-19 in their states. On the other side, US Vice President Kamala harris is tested positive on Tuesday for coronavirus and she has less symptoms told the official spokesperson. China is struggling with the new wave of coronavirus and several major cities of the country are in lockdown. Dr Dhiren Gupta, Sr Paediatrics Pulmonologist said that all the people who are not exposed to the virus are now getting infected but the chance of hospitalization is quite less. Delhi reported 1204 new cases of coronavirus yesterday.
