Narendra Modi Cancels The Three Farm Laws:- The farmers across the country have been protesting against the Indian government for the introduced three farm laws. The protests continued for months and the farmers blocked the ways to the national capital to intensify the protests. Thousands of farmers stood away from their families and fought against the Centre. The talks between the Centre and the farmers took place several times and they ended up unsuccessful. The Centre now stepped down against the farm laws and voted for the farmers. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the introduced three farm laws are now canceled and he apologized the farmers. The announcement came ahead of some key state elections that are scheduled.

Modi made the announcement on Guru Purabh festival. "Something is lacking in our tapasya. We could not convince the farmers about the farm laws. Me and my government is not here to blame anyone. I want to tell the country that we have decided to repeal the three farm laws. The cabinet met and took the decision recently. We will take all the constitutional measures to repeal these farm laws in the upcoming Parliament sessions. I request all the protesting farmers to call off their agitation and return back home. We have initiated the plans of farm laws for the benefit of the farmers but we failed to convince the farmers. The budget on agriculture has risen by 5 times and Rs 1.25 lakh crore is spent annually for agriculture" told Narendra Modi.
