India Reports 18,870 New Covid-19 Cases:- The downward trend of the new cases of coronavirus is currently on after a massive hit due to the second wave of Covid-19 in the country. A total number of 18,870 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the tally in the lowest in the last 200 days. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total reported cases of coronavirus till date are said to be 3,37,16,451. 28,178 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the total number of recoveries climbed to 3,29,86,180. 378 new deaths are reported in India in the last one day taking the total death tally to 4,47,751. There was a further decline in the active cases and they slipped to 2,82,520.

The total number of people who took the vaccination dose for coronavirus in India yesterday are 54,13,332 and the total vaccines administered in India are 87,66,63,490. Kerala continues to have high coronavirus cases and 11,196 new cases are reported in the state in the last 24 hours. 149 deaths are reported in Kerala yesterday. The Indian health experts said there are no signs of third wave of coronavirus for now in the country and the second wave too is declining at a faster pace. The active cases are 0.84 percent of the total infections and the recovery rate is 97.83 percent. The daily positivity rate is 1.25 percent. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples that are tested for coronavirus in India are said to be 15,04,713 and the samples tested in total are 56,74,50,185.
