KTR Says That Telangana Government Is Encouraging Emerging Technologies:- The Telangana government has been supporting and encouraging startups and established firms to start businesses in the state. Telangana is the first Indian stage to supply and transport medicines, vaccines through drones and the pilot project commenced a couple of days ago. Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao responded about the same saying that he will look into the usage of the technology. He said that the technology that is left away is waste and it makes no sense. He made these comments during the launch of 'Medicine From Sky' project in Vikarabad. Union Minister Jyothiradithya Sindiya was present for the event. KTR said that the government of Telangana is keen to encourage new technologies through which the medicine can be distributed.

KTR said that the government will make use of the technology for different fields. In case of emergencies, medicine and blood can be distributed through drones told KTR. Apart from the health industry, the drones can be used for different purposes in various sectors in the future told KTR. "Through Medicine From the Sky project, the vaccines of coronavirus are used to deliver in Vikarabad. The drones are also used to deliver the vaccines to the remote areas. The consortia partners are from Drone Company, logistics, UTM Service Provider and a Healthcare and Cold chain expert as partners. The startup partners include Airserve, BlueDart Express, TechEagle Innovations, Dunzo, Marut Drones, Sagar Defence, Redwing Labs" told KTR.
