India's Coronavirus Recovery Rate Reaches All-time High

India's Coronavirus Recovery Rate Reaches All-time High:- India continues to report 40,000 cases on a regular basis and the second wave of the pandemic is yet to conclude. Though the experts warned of a possible third wave of the coronavirus, there are no such signs for now. A total number of 36,571 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the recovery rate reached all-time high. The total recovery rate climbed to 97.54 percent and there are 3,63,605 active cases of coronavirus for now and this is the lowest in the last 150 days. The total number of Indians who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 3,15,61,635.

The total caseload reached to 3.23 crores and the total number of deaths in the country climbed to 4.33 lakhs as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. Kerala continues to lead the list of cases with 21,116 new cases of coronavirus and the positivity rate of the state is 13.97 percent. Maharashtra is the second most impacted state now and it reported 5225 new cases of coronavirus with 154 fatalities in the state in the last 24 hours. The country's positivity rate is below 3 percent from the last 25 days. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the samples tested on August 19th in India are 18,86,271 and the samples tested in total are said to be 50,26,99,702.
