KCR allocates Rs 1200 Cr for Hyderabad Water Projects:- Telangana state cabinet met yesterday which was chaired by the state's Chief Minister KCR and the meeting took place in Pragati Bhavan. Some crucial decisions are taken in this cabinet meeting which went on for seven and a half hours. KCR has been to resolve the drinking water problem for Hyderabad and he allocated Rs 1200 crores for the Hyderabad water projects. The government of Telangana decided to come with an annual recruitment calendar which will help to recruit the government employees in the state. The calendar will be prepared as per the availability of the posts that are vacant and the government will fill the vacancies at the earliest every year. The Secretaries of all the departments in the state are asked to take the responsibility.

KCR approved to release Rs 1200 crores in addition to the allocated funds for and he instructed the officials to take all the measures to solve the problem of drinking water. The state cabinet also discussed about the land pooling process in the layouts to construct the houses in the urban regions of Telangana. The guidelines will be finalized by the officials of the municipal administration. The cabinet approved the proposal of 50 percent reservation for the students in the residential schools for local students in the respective constituencies. The concerned officials will interact with the MLA, MPP, Municipal Chairman and ZP Chairman to conduct the monthly meetings.

KCR also conducted a review meeting on the current Covid situation in the state and the officials explained about the wave and the availability of the hospital beds and oxygen cylinders in the state.
