India Reports 48,786 New Coronavirus Cases:- A total number of 48,786 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. The total reported cases of coronavirus till date reached 3,04,11,634. With 61,588 recoveries in the country, the total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are said to be 2,94,88,918. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, 1005 people died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus taking the total death toll in India to reach 3,99,459. There are 5,23,257 active cases of coronavirus in India till date and the total number of Indians who took the vaccination dose reached 33,57,16,019. The recovery rate in India climbed to 96.97 percent.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Director Dr Randeep Guleria said that India can stay away from the third wave of coronavirus if all the norms of social distancing and wearing a mask are observed. He also said that there is no evidence that the Delta Plus variant is more infectious and dangerous. Indian government mounted pressure on the European Union to include Covishield and Covaxxin in their list of vaccines for the Digital Covid Certificate Recognition. 61,588 recoveries are reported in India in the last 24 hours. Indian Drug Regulatory rejected permission for the third phase of clinical trials for Sputnik light in the country.
As per the update from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the samples tested for coronavirus on June 30th are said to be 19,21,450 and the samples tested in total are said to be 41,20,21,494.
