Bharat Biotech waiting for WHO's approval for Covaxin:- Bharat Biotech produced Covaxin for coronavirus which got approved in India and is under production. Bharat Biotech said that they are expecting an approval from the World Health Organization (WHO) for the emergency use authorization in between July and September. Bharat Biotech said that the regulatory approvals for Covaxin are in process in more than 60 countries of the globe including USA, Hungary and Brazil. "Application for EUL has been submitted to WHO-Geneva, regulatory approvals are expected July-September 2021," told Bharat Biotech in a statement.

Bharat Biotech also said that it got the Emergency Use Authorization in 13 countries of the world. All the travelers in future will have to travel with the vaccination certificates and the negative RT-PCR tests and there would be travel restrictions. The Emergency Use Authorization is quite important from the World Health Organization as the countries are preparing to restart the travel and there would be restrictions coming. Some of the travelers are worried as Covaxin is not listed as an approved vaccine by the WHO and the travelers taking Covaxin are waiting for the vaccine to be listed by the WHO. Pfizer, Moderna and Covishield are in the list of vaccines approved by the WHO.
