Indian coronavirus tally reaches 2.34 lakhs

Indian coronavirus tally reaches 2.34 lakhs:- The daily tally of coronavirus cases are increasing on a super-fast note and the daily tally stands at 2,34,692 in the last 24 hours. The country reported more than 2 lakh cases for the third straight day and 1341 deaths are reported in the country in the last 24 hours. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will hold a meeting with the Health Ministers of 11 states today to review the situation of the coronavirus in the states. Maharashtra and New Delhi continued to top in the most affected states in the country. A total number of 63,729 cases are reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours and the total tally reached 37 lakh mark. Delhi reported 19,486 cases in the last 24 hours and the total tally crossed 8 lakh mark in the national capital.

A total number of 1,26,71,220 people recovered completely in the country. There are 16,79,740 active cases reported in the country till date and the death toll stands at 1,75,649. The total number of people who took vaccinations till date are said to be 11,99,37,641. As per the data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of samples tested for coronavirus yesterday are said to be 14,95,397 and the total samples tested in the country are 26,49,72,022. All the states are asked to impose the restrictions on their own but the Centre asked the states not to impose any restrictions between the inter-state and the intrastate travel.
