Discussion on about Sasikala's return to TN Politics:- The Assembly election schedule for the Tamil Nadu polls is announced recently and all the leading parties are busy finalizing the alliances and the contestants. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam discussed about the comeback of Sasikala. She was released from the Bengaluru prison recently and she returned back to Chennai recently. Sasikala had a stronghold during Jayalalithaa's regime and she lost it after the demise of Jayalalithaa. Sasikala was also sent to Bengaluru jail in the disproportionate assets case.
Amit Shah discussed about the impact of Sasikala and about sharing the seats between BJP and AIADMK. The Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are scheduled to take place on April 6th. BJP suggested AIADMK to induct Sasikala and Dinakaran back into the party. AIADMK leaders say that it is their political strategy and the right move would be taken at the right time. The discussion about Sasikala's comeback is happening widely as there is a chance for her to split the votes of AIADMK if she is presented in a negative way by the AIADMK leaders. AIADMK and BJP are in plans to contest together while DMK and Congress will join hands for an alliance in the upcoming Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.
