Coronavirus India daily tally stands at 16,738:- The daily cases of coronavirus in India saw a rise in the recent weeks. The total number of cases for coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours are at 16,738. The total caseload in India is at 1,10,46,914 and the total number of recoveries are 1,07,38,501. The death toll in the country stands at 1,56,705 and the active cases are at 1,51,708. The total number of people who took the vaccination in the country are 1,26,71,163. With the rise of the number of cases in Kerala and Maharashtra, the government of West Bengal made it mandatory for the passengers to produce a negative coronavirus report traveling from Maharashtra, Kerala and two other states.

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the people above the age of 60 and those above 45 years with co-morbidities will be given coronavirus vaccination from March 1st at the government and private vaccination centers. The vaccination will be free of cost informed the minister. 104 new deaths are reported in the last 24 hours in the country as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples that are tested for coronavirus in the country till date are said to be 21,38,29,658 and the samples tested yesterday are said to be 7,93,383.
