Telangana Ministers back KTR's move as Chief Minister:- There has been a debate going on about Telangana Minister KTR taking a step higher and get promoted as the Chief Minister of the state. There are strong speculations that KCR would step down from the chair and will focus much on the national politics. Several ministers and crucial leaders of Telangana made comments about KTR taking charge as the Chief Minister for the past couple of days. Telangana Deputy Speaker Padma Rao joined the list of ministers Etala Rajendar, Erabelli Dayakar Rao, V Srinivas Goud, Gangula Kamalakar, Gutta Sukhendar who supported the move. All these leaders said that KTR is quite capable of taking up the position and it is the right time that KTR would take up Chief Minister's chair.

KTR did not react much to the recent comments adding strength to the comments. On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced that the government of Telangana decided to implement ten percent reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). The opposition parties have been observing the situations closely and are planning to stage an attack. Congress leaders say that if KTR takes up the chair of the Chief Minister, it would be the failure of the government in Telangana. Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay responded about KTR turning Chief Minister calling it an internal matter and he said that they would be happy to see a Dalit turning Chief Minister as per the promise made by KCR.
