Farmer Protests: Bharat Bandh Tomorrow:- The farmers of Haryana and Punjab have been protesting against the newly introduced farm laws and demanded immediate amendments for the same. Four rounds of meetings were held between the Centre and the farmer unions but they were not successful. The farmers staged protests across the border of the national capital and they decided not to step back. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal paid his visit along with his cabinet ministers at the Singhu border. He checked the arrangements made at the protest place. AAP extended their support for the farmers and decided to support for the Bharat Bandh on December 8th. With the local body polls planned in Kerala tomorrow, the state was exempted.

There are talks that Home Minister Amit Shah along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be present for the later stage of discussions with the leaders of the farmer unions. Telangana Chief Minister KCR extended his support for the farmers. The opposition parties slammed the Centre for their stand against the farmers. Several celebrities took their social media pages to extend their support for the protests of the farmers. The agitation of the farmers reached the 12th day and as many as 15 political parties from the country supported the farmer protests. The next round of talks are scheduled to take place on December 9th. The Farmer Unions decided to continue their protests till the resolution is found.
