India is in a Better Situation than Other Countries admits Narendra Modi:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of Indian states to discuss about the coronavirus concerns and about the vaccine distribution. Home Minister Amit Shah was present for the virtual meeting. Narendra Modi during his speech admitted that India is in a better situation than other countries in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. It is possible through the joint efforts and the recovery rate is quite good told Modi. He said that the positivity rate of coronavirus in the country should come down under 5 percent. He urged people to be quite careful.

"Safety is quite important for the people. India will get the safest vaccine for all the citizens. The distribution strategy will be chalked out as per the collective coordination with the Indian states. All the states should work on cold storage facilities" told Modi. The meeting came after the Supreme Court asked the Centre and the states to submit a detailed report on how the states are dealing with the pandemic and the steps taken. The tally of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 91,77,841. A total number of 37,975 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the past 24 hours.
