47905 New Cases of Coronavirus Reported in India:- The daily spike of coronavirus cases remained below the 50,000 mark from the past ten days. A total number of 47,905 new infections are reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the total tally of cases to 86,83,916 and the recoveries in the country stand at 80,66,501 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The death toll in the country stands at 1,28,121 and 550 people passed away in the country yesterday. The number of active cases in India are at 4,89,294 and they comprise of 5.63 percent of the total caseload. The national recovery rate is now at 92.89 percent and the fatality rate is at 1.48 percent.

Union Minister Smriti Irani who was tested positive now recovered and is tested negative for coronavirus now. Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine producer said that it has 40 million doses of AstraZeneca ready. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested for coronavirus till yesterday are said to be 12,19,62,509 and the samples tested yesterday alone are said to be 11,93,358. USA is badly hit with the second wave of coronavirus cases and reported 1,36,325 new cases of coronavirus yesterday as per the reports from Johns Hopkins University. The total number of cases reported in USA crossed 10.3 million mark and the death toll stands at 2,40,800.
