Coronavirus India tally crosses 82 lakh mark:- The coronavirus pandemic left a massive impact on the country. The normalcy is returning back slowly and the restrictions are lifted in most of the fields. 45,231 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours in the country taking the total tally of cases to 82 lakh mark. The tally stands at 82,29,313. The death toll in the country is at 1,22,607 and a total number of 75,44,798 people recovered from coronavirus completely in India. The total number of active cases in the country stands at 5,61,908. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total number of 11,07,43,103 samples have been tested for coronavirus till date in India with 8,55,800 samples being tested on Sunday.

Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh are the most impacted states of the country. The government of Rajasthan decided to ban the sale of firecrackers during the festival season because of the coronavirus pandemic. The national capital Delhi reported a hike in the new cases. 5664 new cases are reported and the state recorded over 5000 new cases for the fifth consecutive day. 922 new cases of coronavirus are reported in Telangana in the last 24 hours and the total reached 2,40,970 and the death toll stands at 1348. World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has been identified as a contact of some who is tested positive for coronavirus. He said that he is doing fine and had no symptoms.
