India Reports the Lowest Number of Coronavirus Cases Since July

India Reports the Lowest Number of Coronavirus Cases Since July:- The wave of coronavirus took a toll and India emerged as the second most impacted country in the world after the USA. The single-day spike almost touched one lakh cases per day and the total witnessed the lowest number after July 17th for the first time. A total number of 36,410 cases are reported in the last 24 hours. The tally of total cases in the country reached 79,46,429 in the country and the active cases stand at 6,25,857. The total number of people who recovered completely in the country are said to be 72,01,070. 488 people passed away in the country and the total death tally stands at 1,19,502.

The fatality rate in the country stands at 1.50 percent which is the lowest since March 22nd. Maharashtra, the most impacted state of the country reported 3675 new cases which is the lowest in the state since June 25th. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar tested positive for coronavirus and he is being admitted to a Mumbai-based hospital. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu continues to be the most impacted states in the country. A total number of 10,44,20,894 samples of coronavirus are tested in the country till date and 9,58,116 samples are tested yesterday alone in the country as per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research. Telangana reports 837 new cases of coronavirus in the state and the death toll stands at 1315. The entire witnessed a huge dip in the number of cases which is a positive sign but the holiday season and relaxations warned a second wave of coronavirus in the coming weeks.
