Heavy Rain Alert For Telugu States:- Telugu states have been receiving extensive rainfall in the month of October too. With the low pressure on the east coast which turned into a depression over the west-central Bay of Bengal yesterday morning. It moved westwards which will bring heavy rain for the Telugu states. The depression now lays about 400 km southwest from Visakhapatnam. It is likely to intensify into a deep depression because of which the Telugu states will receive heavy to heavy rainfall for the next two days. The MET says that the thunderstorms with lightning will occur in isolated regions of East Godavari, West Godavari, and Visakhapatnam districts.

The regions are kept on high alert and the officials are personally monitoring the places. While Andhra Pradesh is expected to receive heavy rainfall, some of the regions of Telangana are expected to receive heavy rainfall. Hyderabad along with the neighboring regions will receive heavy rainfall in the next two days. The officials of GHMC are alerted. Telangana Chief Minister KCR instructed the officials and district collectors about the same. The fishermen have been asked to stay away from the sea for a week because of the rough sea and the depression.
