If there is no 10 percent open space in the unapproved layout, the pro-rata open space charges would be 14 percent of the plot value. Several other amendments are made considering the number of unapproved layouts in the state. The Telangana Revenue Department is expected to earn huge amounts through this new Telangana Regularisation of Unapproved and Illegal Layout Rules 2020. The bill was passed in the Telangana Assembly recently after the Panchayatraj Minister KTR introduced it in the house.
