382 Doctors Died of Coronavirus says Indian Medical Association:- Dr Harshavardhan, the Union Minister of Health made a statement in the Parliament did not utter a word about the doctors during his speech. His junior minister said that they do not have the data of the doctors or other health officials. The Indian Medical Association slammed the Indian government accusing of abdication, indifference and abandonment of heroes. The Indian Medical Association said that 382 doctors have passed away in the country due to coronavirus till date. The Indian Medical Association also released a list of doctors and mentioned that the youngest one to lose his life was 27 years old and the oldest happened to be aged 85. The IMA called it unfortunate that the Health Minister had no mention about the doctors, medical professionals and others who lost to the deadly virus.
"No country lost as many doctors and health officials like in India" said the statement of IMA. The Indian Medical Association also said that the Centre had no data of the health officials who passed away. The IMA said that it is strange to have a partial insurance scheme and the government disowning the health officials. The Centre and the Health Ministry during March announced that the health workers will get an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakhs under a national scheme and 22.12 lakh health officials will fall under the scheme. With no crucial data of the health officials, the Centre and the Union Health Ministry are badly criticized. The opposition parties took a dig on the Indian government for being careless for the health officials who have dedicated their lives for the country.
