AP Government Offers Rs 95 Lakhs For The New Chariot In Antarvedi:- A series of incidents in the Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh created a stir and the government of Andhra Pradesh is facing the heat. A chariot from the temple of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Antarvedi caught fire and was completely burnt in the accident. This triggered massive protests across the state. Several Hindu organizations blamed the government of Andhra Pradesh responsible for the incident. TDP Chief and ex-Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu made sensational comments on the YSRCP government for the incident. With the rise in the agitation on the incident, the government of Andhra Pradesh stepped in to control the damage. Andhra Pradesh government sanctioned Rs 95 lakhs for the purchase and construction of the new chariot for Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Antarvedi.
A committee was formed by the East Godavari district collector Muralidhar Reddy to investigate the entire incident. The officials of fire, police, revenue and endowments will be a part of the committee. A TDP leader committee visited the temple premises after the incident took place. The BJP and Janasena leaders of the region are kept in house arrest from the past couple of days. The atmosphere was tensed across the region and before the situations lost control, the government of Andhra Pradesh announced Rs 95 lakhs for the chariot. The Hindu organizations staged protests when the YSRCP leaders and ministers visited the temple premises recently.
