Coronavirus India Tally Crosses 37 Lakh:- The new cases of coronavirus are fastly increasing and the total tally of cases in the country crossed the mark of 37 lakhs in India. A total number of 78,357 cases are registered in the country yesterday and 1045 people passed away in the last one day. The death toll in the country reaches 66,333 and 54% of the cases are said to be in the age group of 18 and 44 years in the country. 51% of the deaths registered in the country are above 60 years. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are the most impacted states and they continued to register hundreds of new cases in the country. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is tested positive for coronavirus.

"I wish to inform all that I have been detected COVID19 positive. I am asymptomatic and hence have opted for home isolation. I shall continue to discharge my duties working from home. Those who have come in my close contact are advised to take the necessary precautions" informed Pramod Sawant and he will be under home isolation. 29,01,908 recovered and are discharged from coronavirus and there are 8,01,282 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Telangana witnessed 2892 new cases in the past one day and 10 new deaths. The total number of cases in Brazil nears four million and the death toll stands at 1,22,596. The United Nations Security Council will hold a high-level meeting on post-COVID-19 security threats.
