76,472 New Coronavirus Cases Registered In India:- India is racing towards the most impacted country in the world due to coronavirus pandemic. The tally of cases crossed 34 lakh mark after 76,472 new cases of coronavirus are registered in the country yesterday. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total cases in the country stands at 34,63,972 and the recovery rate stands at 76.47 percent. The total number of recoveries in the country are at 26,48,998. The death toll in the country stands at 62,550 and 1021 people passed away in the country yesterday as per the official update. The fatality rate in the country is now at 1.81 percent.

There are 7,52,424 active cases of coronavirus in the country which 21.72 percent of the total number of cases. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are the most hit states in the country due to the pandemic. The total number of samplees tested in the country till date are 4,04,06,609 and a total number of 9,28,761 samples are tested yesterday as per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The researchers for the first time identified a person in the United States of America who is reinfected with the coronavirus. Uttarakhand BJP Chief Bansidhar Bhagat tested positive for COVID-19 today. The cases of Andhra Pradesh reach four lakh and one lakh new cases are registered in just ten days.
