Coronavirus India Death Toll Crosses 50,000 Mark:- 147 days after the lockdown got imposed in the country, the death toll reached 50,000 mark. 26,47,663 people got contracted with coronavirus pandemic in the country and 50,921 people passed away till date. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are the most impacted states of the country. The infections are rising in states like Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The recovery rate in the country stands at 71.9% and the country is currently under unlock 3.0. The Union Health Ministry announced that the country has done over 3 crore tests in the country till date. A total number of 2.16 crore people got infected with coronavirus across the globe and 7.67 lakh people died in the world.

As many as 18,62,258 people recovered completely from the pandemic till date said the Union Health Ministry. The active cases in the country stands at 6,76,900. The death toll in USA crossed 1,70,000 as per the reports. USA crossed 50,000 deaths in just 23 days, Brazil in 95 days and Mexico crossed the toll in 141 days. There is a decline in the fatality rate in the country and it stands at 1.93%. The spread is increasing in the country despite of taking all the measures. Most of them are practicing home isolation.
